We built Pals because money kept getting in the way of relationships. We wanted to fix that.

Adil Meraj · 2026

Money is the most avoided conversation between pals.

Help a friend without making it awkward.
Pool together for your parents' Umrah.
Support a sibling's education.
Lend with peace of mind.
Borrow with dignity.
Celebrate together. Stand together. Show up for each other.

This is how money should move.
This is Pals.

THE 7 MONEY PRINCIPLES

What we stand for.

01

not in my interest.

Lending on Pals is zero-interest. Always. No small fees. No convenience charges. No clever names for interest. If that ever changes, it is not Pals anymore.

02

contract = intact.

Money can make friendships messy. So Pals keeps the agreement clear… amount, date, repayment schedule, and signatures from both sides. Not because we don't trust people. Because we want the friendship to survive the money.

03

gold standard is the standard.

Gold has been one of the oldest ways people hold value. On Pals, it becomes a simple savings habit, not an investment promise. Save in gold, hold it in your locker, or use it as backing when lending needs extra trust.

04

join the poolitics.

Group money is always political. Who paid? Who didn't? Who contributed? Who forgot? Pals puts it all in the open… so the pool doesn't become drama.

05

credit where credit is due.

Your Pals Score is not a bank score. It is your reputation inside your circle… built from real actions like repaying on time, contributing to pools, helping during SOS, and showing up when it matters.

06

impactful spending ≠ vain.

Money should move with purpose. Toward real needs, shared goals, charity, support, learning, and meaningful experiences… not empty flexing, extravagance, or waste.

07

pals are power.

A pal is anyone you trust. A friend, a family member, a colleague, a community member. Your circle is the people who show up. Everything on Pals is built around them. Not the product. The people.

Our mission

Our mission is to make money move beautifully… between people who trust, care, and show up for each other.

A pal is anyone you trust: a friend, family member, colleague, or someone in your community. Pals is built for all of them.

People first. Pals over banks, always.

Built by people who had the same problems.

We're not a bank. We're not a fintech fund. We're a small team from India who got tired of money making things awkward with the people we love.

Why invite-only?

Most social apps are built to connect you with more people.
We're building for the people already in your life.

The people you trust.
The ones who show up for you.
The ones you'd build with, celebrate with, travel with, lean on, fight for, and grow old with.

Your circle is what makes Pals work.

people × money
people before money.
never money before people.

Invite-only. Waitlist open. Malaysia is our launchpad.
